In a monitoring campaign of non-residential indoor environments, pharmacies were among the indoor sites with the highest concentrations of the volatile organic compounds studied and were characterised by high concentrations of aromatic compounds (a chemical family, not a description of smell).
Weekly 24-hour samples at indoor sites in one campaign; it measures air composition, not odour.
