Fuel vapours from attached garages ↗

In 15 houses with attached garages in southeast Michigan, the garages showed high levels of gasoline-related volatile organic compounds such as benzene, and nearly all of the benzene and most fuel-related aromatics in the houses came from the garages.

Single-family houses in one region; it measures air composition, not odour.
