Plant scents in a rehabilitation garden ↗

People who had completed a 12-week nature-based rehabilitation programme at Alnarp Rehabilitation Garden in Sweden described how smells in the garden evoked associations, emotions and physical reactions, and how nature scents prompted sensory awareness and memories.

Interviews with participants treated for stress-related disorders in one rehabilitation garden; SmellBook reports the documented experiences, not the study's health conclusions, including those about particular plants.
