A documented museum smellscape ↗

The smellscape of an ethnographic museum was documented through participatory smell walks and a survey with 120 visitors and follow-up interviews with 30 of them, describing how visitors detected, associated and evaluated its odours.

One ethnographic museum in China, studied from a tourism perspective; it does not characterise a general museum smell chemically.
